The TH-1.4 Turtle Head is part of the latest line of products coming out of our Kansas City machine shop.

J-clamp system. This is a self-adjusting clamp system that can mount to Picatinny or Arca Swiss rail systems. The self-adjusting feature allows for compatibility across many different tripod brands.

The J-Clamp system is also user adjustable.  Simply tighten or loosen the internal adjustment screw to add or lessen clamp tension to your specific brand of plates/rails.

Low profile ball joint. Utilizing cutting edge coatings, this small diameter ball joint can handle 50BMG recoil, easily support the heaviest sticks on the market, and still offer a 32° angled engagement.

Internal Panning Ring. This panning ring engages when the ball joint tension is less than 50%. A panning feature is rarely needed at heavy tension but is a useful tool when glassing on a spotting scope or laser range finder.

Tension Knob Assembly. Using an ultra-fine threaded tension design, this ball head is intended to be used at 70-80% tension. Rather than locking the ball head prior to engagement, the head is intended to be used with high tension but not fully locked.

When adjusted correctly, you simply lean into your stock and float the reticle where desired.

Rotating Base. The base of the ball head is removable & rotatable so the user can orientate the tension knob at their desired location on their tripod.

We intentionally deleted an external panning function to make the base as rigid as possible.

Made in Kansas City: Machined in-house using American raw materials. Our springs are even made in KC. Keeping jobs in the heart of the Midwest. TAA Compliant.
