PIG Saddle® Gen 2 Arca 

*The two improvements with the Gen 2 is an added Arca Swiss rail CNC machined out of 7075 aluminum. And a reduction of 2 oz from the original model.

    Very well built and made in America. I use it as my duty rig and it takes a beating in the trunk during pursuits and also withstands all weather conditions. It's an easy choice. Well done Shadowtech!

    I had no idea how solid the PIG Saddle would be until I got it in the mail. You can tell that it's quality and the product was thoughtfully designed. I'm excited to use this for years to come!

    I ordered the PIG Saddle (AKA PIG) for my Ruger Precision Rifle. Have now used it on every rifle I own. As long as you have a great tripod to mount to the PIG will instantly help you to stay on target and remove any wiggle you may have as you pull the trigger. It tightened my groups with every rifle.

    The quality is top notch. The "fit and finish" is A1.

    Works for what I need. Have not tried the HOG saddle due to cost but the PIG works OK and the price is right. But the best part is the guy that runs the place. Forgot his name but you can tell he is old school.

    hi just received my pig saddle and it clamps and holds the rifle well quality and finish is outstanding . I have used its on a normal pro tripod and now have ordered a SLIK DX700PRO Tripod for it . I believe that it should be a complete rig if you want to have a stable platform . great product indeed .

    Initially, it was scary to purchase such and expensive unit. However, something deep down told me to avoid the cheap, plastic, waiting to break, tripods at the stores for this one.
    Once I opened the box, wow, was I amazed? The quality surpassed what I was expecting. I plan to carry the unit for an elk hunt this year. My son carries the rifle, I will hand carry this rig.
    Quality at Best, consider a Hog Saddle !

    This is an outstanding piece of gear. Paired with FB52 ballhead and 311 tripod, it's an unbeatable set-up. The quality of the products is surpassed only by their customer service!

    Has held every weapon I've put in it exactly as advertised. (Resting naturally, canted, pivoted, etc.) I've put about 200 rounds while using this and it's held up and never lost grip once. (I'll admit, I assumed I'd have to re-tighten it after a few rounds.)

    Would highly recommend. It's a great platform without a ball mount and only bettered by one.

    A great tool to have so any setup/buddy can use it without the concern of any attachments.

    I’ve not played with any other types of these to compare but the pig saddle fit the budget. Seems very well made and does its job well.
