PIG Saddle® Gen 2 Arca 

*The two improvements with the Gen 2 are an added Arca Swiss rail CNC machined out of 7075 aluminum. And a reduction of 2 oz from the original model.

Universally mounts to any tripod platform which incorporates an Arca Swiss clamp or 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 mounting threads.     I purchased the pig saddle to upgrade my coyote hunting setup. Simple but effective design and it works great! I love being able to use multiple guns on my tripod.

    I like the universal application of this product. With the saddle I can mount my rifles, cameras, spotting scope to my hog saddle tripod without much thought or preparation. I have even used it for the game caller

    The best thing I've ever purchased. There are so many applications for this. I use this for law enforcement, hunting and recreational shooting. Needless to say I love it. This product is made well very strong and very sturdy most likely going to buy another so I don't have to swap out because now that I've used it I feel uncomfortable shooting without it. Closest thing I've used to having a bench without having a bench.

    Ths Pig saddle is extremely well made and will obviously last me a lifetime! I'm using the Pig on a Gitzo carbon fiber tripod that is at least 25 years old, and it's very stable. Highly recommended!

    I have purchased the 0311 Pig Tripod and the Pig Saddle. I added a Manfrotto joy stick to it. The combination is stable and has great quality. I also use the Hog saddle with a carbon fiber Tripod. There is a weight difference, but not much. I will be purchasing 10 more sets like this for members of our team. There is a big cost savings going this route for an outstanding product. If you are going to hump the hills with a pack,go with the carbon fiber tripod and Hog saddle. If you are Urban in a vehicle with short distance go SLIK/0311 with a Pig!

    Pig Saddle, DX700, and FB52 Ball Head = Deadly. I'm able to achieve prone like support from a seated position behind this setup and hit man sized targets to 1,027 yards. Set it up low, use a back pack on your lap as a rear support, and send it! Definitely recommend this product.

    Great Saddle for the price

    I bought this to try out a budget friendly tripod setup. Have shot off a Hog Saddle many times, and while heavier and not as pretty, this gets the job done just as well, holds a custom 14lb rifle with ease mounted on a Slik 700 and Slik 3 way head. Special thanks to the customer service as well, expedited shipping with ease for a coyote trip I was headed out on, would highly recommend Shadow Tech and their products.

    This thing became for me irreplaceable. Without her I don't go by a shooting range I Use a support but I am going to get a tripod and the ball head on this website. Sorry for my English.
