Product Description

P.R.S.T. BH1 Ball Head

A no-nonsense ball head that gets the job done without all all the bells and whistles. A true ball head option for the minimalist.

The P.R.S.T™ 1″ Ball head is our lightweight and minimalist solution to accompany the PRST Tripod. The lightweight design finds a compromise between no ball head or a high-end ball head, which normally cost four times more. In every design process you end up in a give and take situation. On the BH 1 we sacrificed a litte smoothnes of operation, in order to save roughly the weight of a 30 round 5.56 round magazine. For the sniper or deep woods adventurer every ounce counts!

The BH 1 is treated with Cerakote™ for a field drab finish, and tests have shown that the BH 1 can handle the weight, and recoil of the Barrett M82 .50 caliber with ease.

  1. PRST BH-1 ball head 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Feb 2018

This item is perfect fit my spotting scope. It is also my second ball head I ordered from HOGSADDLE.com. I no longer need to adjust height of tripod unless I need to change my shooting position. It will make job way easier and faster while in hunting or combat situations if paired with tripod.

  2. First military-grade ball head I've seen 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Jan 2018

This ball head exceeded my expectations, which were based on other ball heads that come from the civilian camera market.

Instead of shiny finish and civilian-grade presentation with all the slip we're used to seeing, this one has very tough construction and thoughtful execution.

Things that stick out are the alloy and finish of the ball and socket, as well as the slots for storage in the socket so you can lay your head and saddle over for transport without a long overall length. The simple design eliminates large protruding grip heads, and is intuitive to use out of the gate.

This is a natural component with the tripods and saddles.
